Healthy, hypoallergenic Portuguese water dogs I became allergic to my dog several years ago. I then had to find a new home for her and live without her. I was devastated and lonely. Then in 2008, I realized I could own a dog and share my life with a best friend again. I imported two girls from a well-known breeder in Italy that raised the healthiest Portuguese Water Dogs in the world. Their father was ARAMIS-Life who was top show dog in Italy at the time. I decided I would bring the girls here to the USA and raise healthy beautiful puppies for people that had allergies like myself. Having a Portuguese Water Dog in my home has been a gift. Of course, it does not work for everyone. But it has for me and I wake up every day with my best friends in my home with me. They are hypoallergenic, non-shedding dogs and it is nice not to have hair on furniture. I do health tests on all of the dogs and do not breed carriers. The dogs are clear for Jdcm. Pra, and GM1.
